Have televisions finally become obsolete? According to south korean youth, it seems like it. This web article describes one students ability to download all the media he wants to see off the net. This can range from american television subtitled with korean or american movies that have not been released in korea yet. The student described in the article doesn't own a television and relies solely on his laptop and mobile phone to watch the shows and movies he wants. In regards to the legality of the downloading, the student remarked "So many people do this that I'm not scared of getting caught. Everyone else thinks the same thing, too,"

I think with the continuing advances in technology, and technological devices it's not surprising that there are people who don't use televisions anymore to keep up with their favorite shows.
