Toshiba and NEC teaming up to create nano-tech

Yes, it is true--Toshiba and NEC are teaming up to create nano chips. This is good for them, but perspectively bad for Intel and other chip companies. This is a very expensive endeavor, thus the combined incomes of both companies should be synergous enough to allow them to make smaller, lighter, more powerful and also more battery-frugal chips. The idea is to cut cost on the chips by making them use less power thus saving on production. Unfortunately, to keep up with the competition, there must be a lot of money spent on pre-production. Oh well, I say just keep 'em coming!
