Retail companies continue to use the internet to boost their sales. This holiday season retail sales are projected to be at the lowest level since 2002. Traditionally the Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend is the slowest retail sales day. By offering online shopping websites in addition to retail stores, these retailers are able to boost their sales. Retailers are using e-mail with enticing sales and special offers, to keep their customers shopping when traditionally they have been too tired or busy to go out into the market. By taking advantage of the internet shopping deals, both the customer and the retailer benefit.
