Computers for 3-Year-Olds

Toys and PC makers are looking at where kids are playing and targeting products like computer and digital tools. Younger children are becoming more comfortable with the technology and it allows these companies to find a new market and demand for computer and digital toys. Children as young as 3 years old are using the computer. According to ratings the internet research company stated that users of computers and digital tools from age 2-11 increase 19% to 15.1 million in December 2006. There is great demand that helps children challenge minds without investing and creating new products. This industry is just adding technology into their toys and enhancing children’s favorite play patterns, such as favorite super hero to personalize information.

Vetch launched a popular kid friendly Tote ‘N Go laptop. It is a computerized learning system for young children with color screen device programmed to teach different topics from Spanish to space exploring. Another product of VTech is the Whiz Kids’s learning books that have 40 different pages of content with 120 learning activities.HP plans to sell it first desktop PC for children. This device will include learning software and kid friendly operating system.
