I thought that this was a good tip, especially for our parents who always ask us to troubleshoot their computers when we visit for the holidays. One time, I went home and my mom complained that their PC hadn't had sound for MONTHS! She was so frusterated and was begging me to look at it...turns out she had the Mute box checked!! I still give her a hard time about that!
Not that this software app would fix THAT problem, but it's probably a good starting point for your personal PC or laptop, or a good gift for Christmas! There's a free trial version, and the real thing for $29.95. Not too shabby for a quick fix!
