"On talking for free"
The Pudding Media company has introduced a free Internet phone service where their source of revenue is generated by the ads they display. What really stood out to me from the blog article "On talking for free" is the possibility of your conversations being monitored to get ad information the way Google does with their Gmail service. I hadn't known until recently and I know people who still didn't know about Gmail's strategy for getting information from users. It is something that made me start using Gmail less. It brings up a good point, how willing will you be to compromising your privacy for a free service?
