So you want to be a pro gamer. This is an article in ESPN ya thats right ESPN. And no its not about Madden 2008 which has its players earning money as well but rather its about Halo 2. Focusing on the pro gamers and the tournaments they play in across the country. The one tournament covered had a payout of $450,000 to the top team plus individual cash and prizes. Some of the "pros" have contracts that bring in $250,000 a year and thats not including their cash and prizes. The article goes in depth on how they practice up to 15 hours a day before a tournament and then sleep up to 18 hours after the tournament. It is a pretty cool read for those avid gamers.
