Keep on trying Microsoft! I think it's great that Microsoft is still challenging Apple as far as mp3 players are concerned. These Zunes are geared to challenge the iPod Nanos. From what it sounds like, they are pretty comparable. The thing is, people are comfortable with iPods, so it's going to take a lot or a really good reason to switch. My contention is, if Microsoft is going to try to challenge Apple, they need to not just be comparable, they need to exceed their product in some way. If the product specifications are basically the same as the Nano, then you have to give consumers some kind of other incentive. The biggest would be PRICE! Come on Microsoft, beat them in price. Make it $20-$30 cheaper than an iPod, and people will start buying it. Sure it will cut into your profit margin, but this will get people out of the iPod comfort zone. If you're telling people that they have to learn how to operate a whole new product (no matter how difficult), change over all their currently formated iTune mp3's, and all they get is a comparable product...who's gonna do that?!
