In response to readings...
Though what David Clark said in the article is true, the problem with restructuring the Internet is how you would go about doing it. First off, you would have to develop the security systems to do all the validation of user and data that he proposed. Then you would have to go about implementing it and making sure it worked for all computers. I think his ideas are good in theory, but not in application. Then the proposed $300 million cost to create a 'better' Internet? And we all know the cost would probably be much higher than that. Where will that money come from? If the NSF is willing to pay for it, I'll use it.
