I've always had the idea that telecommuting was more convenient and just an overall better idea for employees. Well, now its been studied and proven to be true! According to recent studies, some of the benefits of telecommuting are less traffic and pollution, lower stress levels, better morale, and 'an overall beneficial effect'. Apparently, the fear of telecommuting was that there would be a breakdown in relationships of managers and co-workers but this wasn't the case. In the future, with advances in technology, maybe we'll see more jobs that offering positions with the option to telecommute at least part of the time.
