Telecommuting is a wonderful thing! I am so glad to work for a company that fully embraces the flexibility that telecommuting offers. Being a full-time student, flex-hours and working remotely has been a godsend...and the only way I've been able to continue working full-time while attending school full-time.

This article describes how employees that are allowed the flexibility of telecommuting have happier home lives, don't stress out due to commuting, and are happier with their jobs. Although there was some fear that telecommuting would result in a breakdown of relationships with bosses and colleagues, there isn't any evidence found to support these concerns. Especially with the price of gas, and the relief on the roadways - telecommuting is a big PLUS for everyone!

  1. It's great, but I either prefer to talk face-to-face or text or e-mail the other person. I don't know why, but I'm shy talking on the phone. I try to avoid it as much as possible.
