regarding the reading assignment.....

I think David Clark is right about our whole situation when dealing with computers and new technology. We do tend to try and work around the problems we face instead of finding ways to eliminate them. Although finding new innovations and technology is a thumbs up, we should shift our focus to using what we already know about technology and come up with a better system overall. This will prove that we are able to reinvent what we already know into more useful and user friendly concepts where everyone would benefit.
