As if credit/debit cards were too hard to use?

Has it really come to the day in age where we can purchase with our finger tip? Posted today on engadget was this article about shell stations in the Chicago area implenting this touch systems for testing at several of their locations. You set up an account either in store or on the web and it accesses your bank account everytime you swipe your finger and not your card at the pump. I guess it won't be long before I wont have to worry about loosing my debit card.

  1. It should be interesting to see how that will affect privacy and what problems will arise from using technology like this. I can't say that I would be comfortable using this type of technology.
