I didn't realize how serious this issue is. I've been through 10 computers in the past 3 years (2 desktops, 4 Windows laptops, and 4 Apple laptops). 3 of my Windows machines have been infected with spyware, malware, and other various viruses. Up until a little over a year ago I really didn't believe in anti-virus software, but with prior experiences and from reading the article, I definitely recommend getting anti-virus software for anyone with a Windows operating system because it will get infected at least once during its lifetime. I'm just glad I have a MacBook now!
