Whoa! I think that's a pretty bold statement by Verizon's Cheif Marketing Officer. To say that he thinks the Voyager will, "kill the iPhone...", is pretty sweet. That definitely sends a message to consumers that this phone is for real. The only problem with making a statement like that, is you have to deliver. I think they're right about the fact that they think Verizon user's will probably be more likely to stay with Voyager rather than switch to the iPhone, because they might not want to switch service providers. Plus, some of the phones are a fraction of the cost of the iPhone. It will be interesting to see the battle between the Voyager and the iPhone play out!

Wow! That is freaking awesome! I have Verizon and I wouldn’t switch just for the iPhone. I won’t get Verizon’s version of the iPhone either because I’m a cheapskate. I recently applied to Verizon Wireless so I hope this new phone generates a need for more employees.
